Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using SinoMDB ("the Platform") operated by SinoMDB Ltd. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you may not access the service.
1. Service Description
SinoMDB is an information platform that provides international patients with access to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and general medical resources in China, including:
- Hospital and department directory information
- Doctor profiles and specialty information
- Drug and medication information
- Medical guidance and travel planning for visitors to China
- Concierge and accompanying services (VIP Elite plan only)
2. Important Medical Disclaimer
SinoMDB is an information and referral service only. The content provided on this platform — including information about hospitals, doctors, medications, and medical conditions — is for general informational and reference purposes only.
It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Always consult a qualified, licensed healthcare professional for medical decisions. SinoMDB is not responsible for any medical outcomes resulting from information found on this platform.
3. Subscription Plans & Payments
All paid subscriptions are billed in advance. Prices are in USD and are subject to applicable taxes. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' prior notice to existing subscribers.
Free
No charge. Basic hospital, department, and drug name/specification queries.
Pro — $19.9/month
Full drug information, doctor profiles, live customer support, medical guidance, drug purchasing info.
VIP — $99.9/month
All Pro features plus doctor schedule queries, 1-on-1 China visit planning, and insider guidance.
VIP Elite — $999/year
All VIP features plus airport pickup/drop-off (×2), English accompaniment, doctor appointment booking, hotel-hospital transfers, and doctor schedule lock-in.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
For EU/UK consumers, you have the right to withdraw from a digital service contract within 14 days of purchase under the Consumer Rights Directive, unless you have already commenced use of the service and expressly waived this right.
Monthly plans
You may cancel at any time. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial months.
Annual plan (VIP Elite)
Eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase if no concierge services have been used. After 14 days, a pro-rated refund may be issued at our discretion.
Concierge services
Airport pickup, accompaniment, and scheduling services must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance to avoid charges.
5. User Obligations
By using SinoMDB, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Keep your account credentials confidential and not share them with others
- Use the platform solely for lawful, personal purposes
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse platform data
- Not make false or fraudulent bookings or service requests
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
6. Intellectual Property
All content on SinoMDB — including text, graphics, logos, database compilations, and software — is the property of SinoMDB Ltd. or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and database rights laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SinoMDB Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or reliance on information provided. Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong SAR. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Hong Kong.
If you are an EU or UK consumer, you retain the right to seek redress through your local courts and consumer protection bodies regardless of the above.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email and/or a notice on the platform at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
