Health Data Agreement

This VIP Health Data Supplemental Agreement is entered into between you and Tsing Link Technology Limited, the operator of sinomdb.com. It supplements the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and prevails where health-related personal data is concerned.

This Agreement is presented when VIP Members first access the VIP Customer Service consultation feature. Access to that feature requires active acceptance because health information is treated as a special category of personal data under GDPR Article 9 and requires explicit, separate, and informed consent.

Health-Related Data means personal information that you voluntarily submit through the VIP consultation system and that relates to your physical or mental health.

You are not required to submit Health-Related Data in order to use the consultation system for general informational requests such as hospital directories or physician schedules.

• Medical history, current diagnoses, or suspected conditions
• Symptoms, physical complaints, or clinical observations
• Current medications, dosages, treatment regimens, laboratory results, imaging reports, or clinical records
• Treating physician or hospital names, and any other information from which health or medical inferences may reasonably be drawn

Health-Related Data submitted through the consultation system is used exclusively to provide personalised medical information guidance, identify appropriate specialist departments or medical facilities, and support appointment guidance or scheduling assistance within the scope of publicly available Chinese medical data.

Processing under this Agreement does not constitute medical diagnosis, clinical advice, treatment recommendations, or the establishment of a doctor-patient relationship.

• Permitted purpose: personalised Chinese medical information guidance and navigation support
• Prohibited use: Targeted advertising or behavioural profiling
• Prohibited use: sale, licence, or disclosure to third parties for their own commercial purposes
• Prohibited use: any purpose beyond the specific service interaction
• Prohibited use: training machine learning or artificial intelligence models without additional explicit consent

Access to Health-Related Data is limited to authorised customer service personnel of Tsing Link Technology Limited who have a direct operational need to provide the requested service.

Health-Related Data is encrypted at rest, transmitted only over TLS/HTTPS, and stored within access-controlled internal systems.

Health-Related Data is not shared with third-party providers, affiliates, or partners unless disclosure is required by applicable law or court order and limited to the minimum necessary scope.

Health-Related Data submitted through the consultation system is retained for two years after your VIP membership expires or terminates, unless a legal hold requires longer retention.

You may request earlier deletion by writing to [email protected]. We will process verified deletion requests within 30 days and confirm deletion in writing.

After the applicable retention period ends, Health-Related Data will be automatically and permanently deleted from our systems.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Withdraw VIP Health Data Consent" or by contacting us through another official sinomdb.com channel.

If you withdraw consent, your access to the VIP consultation system will be suspended, but the rest of your VIP membership benefits remain unaffected. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before the withdrawal.

You also retain the access, rectification, erasure, portability, and complaint rights described in the Privacy Policy, including the right for EU residents to complain to their supervisory authority.

This Supplemental Agreement is a binding extension of the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy of sinomdb.com. Defined terms that are not separately defined here have the meanings given in those documents.

This Agreement does not change your subscription rights, billing terms, or other parts of your relationship with the Company beyond the specific processing of Health-Related Data.

We may update this Supplemental Agreement to reflect changes in law, processing activities, or security practices.

For material changes, VIP Members will be notified by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the consultation system after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.

The current version remains available at sinomdb.com/vip-health-agreement and is governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

The consent checkbox for this Agreement must be unchecked by default and require an affirmative user action before access to the consultation feature is granted.

• I have read and understood the VIP Health Data Supplemental Agreement. I explicitly and voluntarily consent to Tsing Link Technology Limited processing any health-related personal information I choose to submit through the VIP Consultation System, solely for the purpose of providing me with personalised Chinese medical information guidance as described in the Agreement. I understand that this consent is not required for other aspects of my VIP membership, and that I may withdraw it at any time by contacting [email protected].
