Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of sinomdb.com and all associated services provided by Tsing Link Technology Limited.

Effective date: March 23, 2026

Nature of Service and Medical Disclaimer

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Tsing Link Technology Limited for your use of sinomdb.com and its related services. By registering an account or otherwise using the service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

sinomdb.com provides a curated aggregation and search service for Chinese medical information, including hospital and department directories, physician profiles, pharmaceutical data, and related healthcare resources for non-Chinese-speaking users.

Nothing on the platform, including search results, customer service communications, or VIP consultation responses, constitutes medical diagnosis, medical advice, treatment recommendations, or a prescription, and the service does not create a doctor-patient relationship.

Before making decisions about treatment, medication, hospital selection, or physician engagement, you must consult a licensed medical professional in your jurisdiction. Public-source information may be delayed, incomplete, or changed without notice, and we do not warrant its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.

User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to register for or use the service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your access to and use of the service complies with the laws and regulations that apply in your jurisdiction. We do not represent that the service is lawful or appropriate in every location.

Account Registration and Security

You may register using Google OAuth or an email-and-password account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, and to keep that information updated.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you discover unauthorised access or suspect a breach affecting your account.

You may not create multiple accounts or transfer your account to another person without our prior written consent.

  • Google OAuth (Recommended): we store only your Google display name and associated email address, and no password is stored on our servers
  • Email and Password: passwords are stored only in hashed and encrypted form
  • One account per user unless the Company gives prior written consent

Subscription Plans and Service Entitlements

The service is offered across Free, Pro, and VIP tiers, and access to features is governed strictly by the subscription tier active at the time of use.

We may modify feature availability with reasonable prior notice as described in these Terms.

  • Free: hospital and department basic information, medication names, and medication specifications
  • Pro (USD $19.9/mo): adds physician profiles, medication information, customer service access, disease and hospital queries, medical navigation, and medication purchase information
  • VIP (USD $99.9/mo): includes all Pro features plus physician schedule and appointment queries

Payment, Auto-Renewal, and Refund Policy

Subscription fees are prepaid monthly and charged at the start of each billing cycle. All subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date through your account settings.

We may change subscription pricing by giving at least 30 days' notice to your registered email address. Continued use after the effective date of the new price constitutes acceptance, and you may cancel before the new pricing takes effect.

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where a verified platform-side outage or technical failure makes the service substantially unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours. In that case, you may request a pro-rated refund within 14 days of the incident, and we will respond within 10 business days.

We do not store credit card numbers or full payment credentials. Payment details are processed directly by the applicable payment provider.

  • EU users purchase through Paddle.com Market Limited as Merchant of Record
  • Users outside the European Union may pay with Stripe or PayPal
  • Refunds are not available for partial usage, change of mind, or user-side technical issues

VIP Customer Service Scope and Limitations

VIP customer service helps with publicly accessible Chinese medical information, including physician schedule lookups, appointment guidance, hospital navigation, and drug availability queries.

VIP support is not a medical consultation and does not establish a doctor-patient or adviser-patient relationship. Information provided through VIP channels is for reference only.

We aim to respond to VIP support tickets within 48 business hours measured in Beijing Time (UTC+8) on weekdays, but response times may vary during public holidays.

Intellectual Property

All content on sinomdb.com, including compilations, translations, editorial arrangement, database structure, user interface, and original commentary, is owned by Tsing Link Technology Limited and protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

You receive only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, republish, or commercially exploit service content
  • You may not scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the platform
  • You may not resell, sublicense, transfer access, or use the content to create competing products or services

Account Suspension and Termination

You may cancel your account at any time through account settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period without a refund for the remaining period.

We may suspend or permanently terminate accounts without prior notice in cases including violations of these Terms, fraudulent or illegal conduct, or attempts to bypass access restrictions or security measures.

After termination, your right to use the service ends immediately, while provisions about intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution continue to apply.

Limitation of Liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without express or implied warranties.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid in the three months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or personal injury arising from use of the service.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, excluding its conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms will be finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) under its Administered Arbitration Rules. The seat of arbitration is Hong Kong and the language is English.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory rights available to consumers in the European Union under the laws of their Member State, including rights involving distance contracts, unfair terms, or access to courts and alternative dispute resolution.

Amendments to These Terms

We may update or modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify you through your registered email address at least 30 days before the update takes effect.

The latest version remains available at sinomdb.com/terms, and continued use of the service after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
