Cardiac neurosis, also known as cardiovascular neurosis, is a functional disorder primarily characterized by cardiovascular symptoms such as chest pain, palpitations, and shortness of breath, without actual organic heart disease.
This condition is common in young and middle-aged adults aged 20 to 50, and menopausal women. It may be caused by stress from daily life and work.
