Hypotension

Hypotension refers to blood pressure that is lower than normal. Generally, in adults, arterial blood pressure in the upper limbs below 90/60 mmHg is considered hypotension. There are many causes of hypotension, including physiological factors, disease factors, and medication factors. Generally, patients with asymptomatic hypotension do not require treatment. Doctors only treat hypotension when related symptoms appear or when blood pressure suddenly drops.
