Seminal vesiculitis

The seminal vesicles, also known as seminal glands or seminal sacs, are a pair of elongated, oval-shaped sac-like organs located behind the prostate and bladder. They connect to the urethra via the ejaculatory ducts. The mucus secreted by the seminal vesicles is a component of semen. Seminal vesiculitis is an infectious inflammation of the seminal vesicles, mostly caused by bacteria, with a small number of cases attributed to mycoplasma and chlamydia. The main symptoms include hematospermia, frequent urination, urgent urination, painful urination, and painful ejaculation.
