Cystitis

The bladder is an organ in the human body that stores urine. Cystitis refers to inflammatory lesions of the bladder caused by bacterial infections and other non-bacterial factors, with bacterial cystitis being the most common. Due to the female urinary system having a shorter urethra and wider opening compared to males, this condition is more prevalent in women. The main symptoms of cystitis include frequent urination, urgency, and painful urination. A small number of patients may also experience lower back pain and low-grade fever.
