Bladder exstrophy is a complex congenital malformation caused by abnormal embryonic development, often accompanied by abnormalities of the urinary tract, reproductive tract, and musculoskeletal system, and sometimes intestinal abnormalities.
The main manifestations of this disease include an unclosed bladder, separation of the pubic symphysis at the anterior pelvis, a waddling gait, difficulty urinating, and foul-smelling urine.
