Urethral injury

Urethral injury refers to a condition where the urethra is bruised, ruptured, or torn due to internal or external violence. It is common in young and middle-aged men, and the main clinical symptoms include blood dripping from the urethral opening, hematuria, dysuria, difficulty urinating, hematoma, or abdominal mass. The male urethra is divided into two parts: the anterior urethra and the posterior urethra. The anterior urethra includes the bulbar and perineal parts, while the posterior urethra includes the prostatic and membranous parts. Among these, the bulbar and membranous parts are most frequently injured.
