Periampullary carcinoma

Ampulla refers to the dilated part of various tubular organs. Periampullary carcinoma is a general term for several common malignant tumors of the digestive system, mainly including ampullary carcinoma, duodenal papillary carcinoma, and distal common bile duct carcinoma. This disease is common in people aged 40-70, with a higher incidence in males. The main symptoms include jaundice, upper abdominal pain, fever, weight loss, hepatomegaly, and gallbladder enlargement.
