Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma

Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma is an adenocarcinoma originating from the epithelial cells lining the intrahepatic bile ducts. It is a rare, chronic disease with a very high degree of malignancy. This disease commonly affects individuals aged 55-75, with a slightly higher incidence in males than females. Key symptoms include nausea, abdominal pain, night sweats, jaundice, and weakness.
