External hemorrhoids

Hemorrhoids can be classified into internal, external, and mixed hemorrhoids based on their location. The dentate line is the dividing line between the rectum and the anal canal. When the lesion occurs below the dentate line, it is called an external hemorrhoid. This condition typically presents with hemorrhoidal masses protruding outside the anus, accompanied by pain, itching, and sometimes bloody stools.
