Sinus tachycardia

Sinus tachycardia is the most common type of rapid supraventricular arrhythmia. The heart has a tissue called the sinoatrial node, which is a natural pacemaker that generates electrical impulses. These impulses travel through the heart muscle, causing it to contract or beat at a certain rhythm. When the heart's electrical impulses are transmitted normally, the usual heart rate is 60-100 beats per minute, which is called normal sinus rhythm. Sinus tachycardia refers to a sinus rhythm that is faster than the usual pace, exceeding 100 beats per minute.
