Limb vascular injury

Limb vascular injury refers to severe trauma to the blood vessels of the limbs, leading to a disruption of their integrity. The three most frequently injured arteries are the brachial artery, femoral artery, and popliteal artery, with most injuries occurring on one side of the body. The primary symptom of this condition is bleeding, which can lead to impaired blood supply to distal vessels, hypotension, paresthesia, and even organ failure and shock.
