Detailed description
Epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE) is a rare vascular tumor (originating from blood vessels), classified as a low-grade malignant tumor that falls between hemangioma (a benign tumor) and angiosarcoma (a malignant tumor).
This tumor commonly occurs in soft tissues, liver, lungs, thoracic spine, pleura, and other sites. It predominantly affects young and middle-aged adults, with no significant gender difference, except for hepatic epithelioid hemangioendothelioma, which is more common in female patients.
