Gastric perforation

Gastric perforation refers to a condition where an ulcer gradually erodes the stomach wall, leading to a perforation and the leakage of a large amount of gastric contents into the abdominal cavity, causing an acute abdominal emergency. The average age of onset for this disease is 46 years. It is more common in males, but the proportion of female patients has increased in recent years. The main symptoms include severe abdominal pain, abdominal wall rigidity, and in severe cases, even shock-related symptoms such as cold extremities, cold sweats, and decreased blood pressure.
