Cellulitis

Cellulitis is a disease characterized by skin redness, swelling, and increased skin temperature, caused by bacterial infections of superficial tissues, such as hemolytic streptococci and Staphylococcus aureus. Cellulitis most commonly affects middle-aged and elderly individuals. The incidence rate is reported to be approximately 0.2% in other countries, while the domestic incidence rate is unknown.
