Vulvar leukoplakia, also known as vulvar white lesions, refers to a group of chronic diseases characterized by changes in the pigmentation of the skin and mucous membranes of the female external genitalia.
It is characterized by vulvar itching, and the skin and mucous membranes of the vulva show varying degrees of hypopigmentation, which can thicken into lichen-like changes or atrophy.
Vulvar leukoplakia mainly includes chronic simple lichen simplex chronicus of the vulva and lichen sclerosus of the vulva.
