Invasive mole

Invasive mole is a borderline tumor that occurs after a hydatidiform mole, falling between a hydatidiform mole (benign) and choriocarcinoma (malignant). It can metastasize, with lung metastasis being the most common. Most cases occur within 6 months after the evacuation of the hydatidiform mole. The main symptoms include vaginal bleeding, abnormal uterine enlargement, symptoms related to metastatic lesions (specific manifestations depend on the location, with local bleeding being a common feature of all metastatic sites), and abdominal pain.
