Abdominal pregnancy

Normally, an embryo or fetus grows and develops inside a woman's uterus. If, for various reasons, the embryo grows outside the uterine cavity, it is called an ectopic pregnancy. If it grows in the abdominal cavity, it is called an abdominal pregnancy, also known as intraperitoneal pregnancy or abdominal gestation. Abdominal pregnancy is divided into primary and secondary types. Primary abdominal pregnancy refers to the direct implantation of a fertilized egg on the peritoneum, mesentery, omentum, etc., which is very rare. Secondary abdominal pregnancy often occurs after tubal pregnancy abortion or rupture, and occasionally after ovarian pregnancy or uterine pregnancy rupture. The most common symptom of this condition is severe abdominal pain. In addition, there may be symptoms such as vaginal bleeding and early pregnancy reactions.
