Cervical hypertrophy

Cervical hypertrophy is often caused by long-term chronic inflammation, leading to cervical congestion, edema, hyperplasia, inflammatory cell infiltration, and thickening of fibrous connective tissue, which results in an enlarged and hardened cervix. Most patients do not have obvious clinical symptoms and are often diagnosed during gynecological examinations.
