Autism

Autism, also known as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), is a pervasive developmental disorder characterized by varying degrees of social interaction deficits, communication impairments, restricted interests, and stereotyped and repetitive behaviors. It typically manifests in infancy or early childhood (before 3 years of age) and is often accompanied by other non-specific issues such as phobias, sleep and eating disturbances, anger, and self-directed aggression.
