Roseola infantum

Roseola infantum is an acute viral infectious disease that commonly affects infants and young children. It primarily occurs in children under 2 years of age, with most children experiencing it before starting kindergarten. It is more prevalent in spring and autumn. The disease typically presents with a sudden onset, characterized by 3 to 5 days of fever, followed by the appearance of a rash after the fever subsides (rash after fever). It usually resolves spontaneously.
