Dysphonia

Dysphonia refers to the dysfunction of speech organs when a patient attempts to convert their thoughts (internal speech) into spoken words, resulting in an inability to produce sounds and thus hindering normal verbal expression. The main symptoms include stuttering and slurred speech. In severe cases, speech may be intermittent, making it impossible to form complete sentences, leading to difficulty in understanding, or even complete inability to speak.
