Lead poisoning

Lead poisoning refers to a blood lead concentration exceeding 100 μg/L. Lead poisoning can harm multiple systems in the human body and affect normal growth and development, with the hematopoietic and nervous systems being most sensitive to lead poisoning. This disease is common in children. Main symptoms include nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension, abdominal colic, constipation, and diarrhea. In severe cases, anemia, toxic hepatitis, kidney damage, multiple peripheral neuropathy, and lead encephalopathy may occur.
