Scabies

Scabies is a skin disease caused by the scabies mite parasitizing the epidermal layer of human skin. It is a common contagious disease. This disease is prevalent worldwide, with nearly 300 million people infected annually, mainly in developing countries and areas with poor economic and sanitary conditions. Epidemiologically, the prevalence of scabies is cyclical, with each cycle lasting 15 to 30 years.
