Dyshidrotic eczema is a vesicular skin disease that symmetrically affects the hands and/or feet. It is more common in young and middle-aged individuals between 20 and 40 years old, with a higher prevalence in females.
Typical skin lesions are small vesicles deep in the epidermis, slightly elevated above the skin surface, accompanied by varying degrees of itching and burning sensations. It usually recurs periodically each year.
