The ethmoid sinus is one of the pairs of paranasal sinuses, located in the ethmoid labyrinth above and lateral to the nasal cavity, consisting of air cells with varying degrees of pneumatization. Chronic ethmoid sinusitis is an inflammation that occurs in the ethmoid sinus, often caused by poor drainage and recurrent inflammation.
