Chronic ethmoid sinusitis

The ethmoid sinus is one of the pairs of paranasal sinuses, located in the ethmoid labyrinth above and lateral to the nasal cavity, consisting of air cells with varying degrees of pneumatization. Chronic ethmoid sinusitis is an inflammation that occurs in the ethmoid sinus, often caused by poor drainage and recurrent inflammation. The main symptoms of chronic ethmoid sinusitis include a feeling of fullness in the nasal root or orbit, nasal congestion, olfactory dysfunction, postnasal drip, depression, and difficulty concentrating.
