Blood lipids

Lipid panel is a method for quantitative determination of lipids in plasma, and it is one of the routine clinical physical examination items. Uses of lipid panel: To diagnose lipid metabolism disorders, such as hypercholesterolemia and hyperlipidemia. To identify the risk of atherosclerosis early and predict the risk of future cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. To assist in the diagnosis of diseases such as primary biliary cholangitis, nephrotic syndrome, hepatitis, cirrhosis, and malabsorption syndrome. For patients taking lipid-lowering drugs, regular re-examination of blood lipids is necessary to monitor the condition and drug efficacy.
