Osteomyelitis

Osteomyelitis is a destructive inflammation of the bone caused by various pathogenic microorganisms, most commonly Staphylococcus aureus. The infection can be localized to a specific bone structure or involve multiple sites such as the bone marrow, cortex, periosteum, and surrounding tissues. The main symptoms of this disease are chills, high fever, and inflammatory manifestations at the site of infection.
