Neonatal intracranial hemorrhage

Neonatal intracranial hemorrhage is a common brain injury in newborns, often caused by hypoxia or birth trauma, and is one of the leading causes of early neonatal death. This condition is more common in premature infants. When the amount of bleeding is small, there may be no symptoms. If the amount of bleeding increases, varying degrees of consciousness disturbance, irritability, convulsions, and other symptoms may occur, and in severe cases, respiratory distress may be present.
