Headache is a common clinical symptom, generally referring to pain localized to the upper half of the head, including the area above the eyebrow arches, the upper edge of the auricles, and the line connecting the external occipital protuberance.
It can be seen in various diseases, most of which are not specific, for example, systemic infectious febrile diseases are often accompanied by headache; mental stress and excessive fatigue can also cause headache.
However, recurrent or persistent headaches may be a sign of certain serious diseases (such as brain tumors), and medical attention should be sought promptly for diagnosis and timely treatment.
