Pain

Pain is an unpleasant subjective sensation produced by the human brain in response to tissue damage in a certain part of the body or stimuli that may cause tissue damage. Pain can involve various parts, systems, organs, and tissues throughout the body, and its causes are multifaceted, including trauma, inflammation, cancer, and neuropathy. Based on the location of pain, it can be classified as headache, orofacial pain, neck pain, shoulder and upper limb pain, chest pain, abdominal pain, back pain, pelvic pain, lower limb pain, and anal and perineal pain. Based on the nature of pain, it can be classified as stabbing pain, dull pain, burning pain, aching pain, throbbing pain, electric shock-like pain, radiating pain, and pulling pain.
