Frozen shoulder

Frozen shoulder is a common condition characterized by shoulder joint pain and restricted movement. It is a chronic non-specific inflammation of the shoulder joint capsule and its surrounding ligaments, tendons, and bursa, commonly affecting middle-aged and elderly individuals around 50 years old, hence it is also known as "fifty shoulder." The main symptoms include gradually developing shoulder pain, which is worse at night and progressively worsens, leading to increasingly restricted shoulder joint movement. After reaching a certain degree, the symptoms gradually alleviate until complete recovery.
