Nonunion

Nonunion, also known as fracture nonunion, refers to the failure of a fractured bone to heal, where the bone ends cease to unite due to certain influencing factors. The commonly used criteria for diagnosis are a fracture that has not healed after 9 months, with no signs of healing for more than 3 months. The main symptoms of this condition include pain at the fracture site, muscle atrophy, and limited mobility.
