Osteoma

Osteoma is a benign bone tumor, commonly found in the bones of the skull and face. Patients with osteoma are mostly children and adolescents, with a higher incidence in males. The tumor usually grows slowly, gradually increasing in size with the body's development. After the body matures, most tumors stop growing. Symptoms of osteoma are usually mild, and most cases are discovered due to the presence of a mass. Sometimes, the tumor can cause compressive symptoms, such as nasal obstruction or proptosis.
