Lumbar spondylolisthesis refers to the relative slippage between two adjacent lumbar vertebrae, meaning one vertebra slips relative to its adjacent lower vertebra. The direction of slippage can be anterior, posterior, or lateral. The main symptoms of this condition include pain and weakness in the lower back, buttocks, and lower limbs. These symptoms may worsen with standing, walking, or bending, and may be relieved with rest.
