Synovial sarcoma

Synovial sarcoma is a rare but highly malignant soft tissue sarcoma, predominantly affecting young adults around 30 years of age. Synovial sarcoma can occur anywhere in the body, most commonly in the extremities, especially the lower limbs, such as the knee and ankle joints. A small number of cases occur in the head and neck and trunk.
