Periostitis

Periostitis is a condition caused by an inflammatory reaction in the periosteum, the tissue covering the surface of bones. It commonly affects individuals who have experienced periosteal injuries (such as blows, falls, or impacts), those who engage in regular athletic training, and those who are typically inactive but suddenly increase their exercise intensity.
