Hip labral tear

The hip joint is composed of the acetabulum and the femoral head. The rim of the acetabulum is surrounded by a fibrocartilaginous structure called the acetabular labrum, also known as the hip labrum, which deepens the joint socket to ensure hip joint stability. Hip labral tear refers to damage to the labrum due to impact or compression. The main symptom is chronic pain around the hip joint, which may be accompanied by restricted hip joint movement.
