Tibial and fibular shaft fracture

The tibia and fibula are collectively referred to as the tibiofibular bones, located in the lower leg, between the knee and ankle joints. A tibiofibular shaft fracture refers to a fracture of the shaft (body) of the tibia and fibula. The symptoms of this condition are similar to those of fractures in other locations, mainly including pain, swelling, deformity, and impaired mobility.
