Wrist injury

Wrist joint injuries can be classified as follows: Wrist sprain or contusion, often caused by an accidental fall, due to excessive tendon traction or local impact from a heavy object, often resulting in swelling. Fractures around the wrist joint, including scaphoid fracture, lunate fracture, distal radius fracture involving the wrist joint surface, and distal ulna fracture. Ligament injuries of the wrist joint, including the radioscapholunate ligament and interosseous ligaments.
