Myopathy

Myopathy refers to a condition where the muscle tissue undergoes pathological changes, leading to abnormalities in the cellular structure and metabolism of the muscles, which in turn causes muscle weakness and impaired motor function. It is more common in middle-aged men and has a slow onset. The main manifestations are progressive muscle weakness and muscle atrophy.
