Corneal disease

Corneal disease is a general term for all diseases of the cornea, referring to pathological changes in the cornea due to inflammation, trauma, congenital diseases, malnutrition, or the presence of tumors. It is one of the important causes of vision loss in patients. Symptoms of corneal disease include red eyes, eye pain, and photophobia. Untreated, it can lead to corneal ulcers and perforation.
