Papilledema

Papilledema is a non-inflammatory, obstructive edema caused by inflammation, infection, infiltration, compression, toxic metabolism, etc., leading to swelling and hemorrhage of the nerve fibers around the optic disc, and infiltration of the optic disc by swollen nerve fibers and interstitial fluid. Blurred vision and visual field defects are the most typical and main symptoms of this disease.
