Corneal dystrophy

Corneal dystrophy is a group of rare, genetic disorders that affect the cornea, the front part of the eye. These disorders cause foreign material to accumulate in one or more layers of the cornea, leading to cloudy or blurry vision over time. Symptoms may include tearing, dry eyes, glare, light sensitivity, eye pain, foreign body sensation in the eye, and corneal erosion.
