Malignant melanoma of choroid

Choroidal malignant melanoma is the most common intraocular malignant tumor in adults. It can occur in any part of the choroid, but is more common in the posterior pole of the eye, with both localized and diffuse growth patterns. This disease is more common in people aged 40-60 years. It is more prevalent in Caucasians, followed by Asians, and is rare in Black people. The main symptoms include decreased vision, incomplete visual field, distorted vision, and floaters.
