Panuveitis

Panuveitis refers to inflammation affecting the entire uvea, often accompanied by inflammation of the retina and vitreous. (The uvea is the middle layer of the eyeball wall, located between the sclera and the retina, and mainly includes the iris, ciliary body, and choroid.) This disease is common in young and middle-aged adults. The main symptoms include red eyes, pain, photophobia, tearing, floaters, flashes of light, decreased vision, and distorted vision.
