Ocular carcinoma in situ

Ocular carcinoma in situ, also known as Bowen's disease or intraepithelial carcinoma, is a squamous cell carcinoma in situ that occurs on the skin or mucous membranes of the eye. It commonly affects the elderly, is typically unilateral, and has a slow progression. The main symptoms are often solitary, well-demarcated, dark red plaques or patches of irregular shape and varying size, often with scales, crusts, and exudation on the surface.
