Ocular dermoid and epidermoid cysts

Ocular dermoid and epidermoid cysts are cysts that occur in the eye, lined with epithelium similar to the skin epidermis, and may contain skin appendage structures in the cyst wall. Those containing skin appendages are dermoid cysts, and those without skin appendages are epidermoid cysts. This disease is common in children and young adults. The main symptom is a slowly growing, relatively soft, and fluctuating dough-like mass in the eye.
